These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) apply to all purchases and services provided by Luxury Helsinki Oy.

By placing an order or purchasing our services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these T&C.

Nothing in these T&C limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

1. About Us

Luxury Helsinki is an independent luxury resale company based in Helsinki, Finland.

We sell authenticated pre-owned luxury handbags, accessories, jewellery, watches and other selected items. Products may be owned by Luxury Helsinki or sold on behalf of private clients.

We are not affiliated with the luxury brands we sell.

2. Products and Condition

All pre-owned products are individually inspected and described before sale. Each product listing includes its condition and any identified signs of wear, damage or imperfections.

Due to the nature of pre-owned items, we cannot guarantee their complete history, including previous repairs, servicing, restoration or replacement of parts. Products may have been repaired or modified by previous owners without our knowledge. Any known significant alterations will be disclosed in the product description.

The age, condition and previous use of an item may affect its durability. If an item requires servicing or repairs after purchase, we recommend contacting the original brand or an authorised specialist where possible.

3. Orders

Orders can be placed online or through our showroom.

Luxury Helsinki reserves the right to cancel an order if:

• The item is unavailable or already sold.

• Payment or identity verification fails.

• Fraud or unlawful activity is reasonably suspected.

• Delivery is restricted by law.

• An obvious pricing or technical error has occurred.

If we cancel a paid order, we will issue a refund.

4. Authenticity Guarantee

Luxury Helsinki guarantees the authenticity of every product we sell.

All items are authenticated by our specialists and, when necessary, through independent authentication services such as Entrupy or Bababebi.

If an item purchased from Luxury Helsinki is confirmed to be inauthentic, we will accept its return and refund the full purchase price.

Authenticity concerns should be reported to contact@luxuryhelsinki.fi. We may arrange additional authentication before resolving a claim. This guarantee is provided directly by Luxury Helsinki and does not depend on third-party guarantees.

5. Payments

We accept selected payment methods, including:

• Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

• Bank transfers.

• Approved invoice and instalment services.

• Gift cards and store credit.

• Cash payments at our showroom up to 10,000 €.

Available payment methods are confirmed at checkout. Gift cards, discounts and store credit cannot be combined unless otherwise agreed.

We may request identity verification for security, fraud prevention or legal compliance. Payments are processed through our approved payment providers, including Shopify Payments and Mollie.

6. Layaway

Layaway is available for selected products. A 25% reservation fee is required, with the remaining balance paid according to an agreed schedule.

The reservation fee is non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law. Products are released only after full payment. If payments are missed, Luxury Helsinki may cancel the arrangement and retain the reservation fee where legally permitted.

Layaway purchases are final unless statutory cancellation or return rights apply.

7. Personal Sourcing and Pre-Orders

Luxury Helsinki offers personal sourcing for selected luxury products. Once an item is located, we confirm its availability, price and payment terms. A deposit may be required before proceeding. The quoted price may include sourcing, transportation, authentication and handling costs.

Bank transfer is our preferred payment method for sourcing orders. The remaining balance must be paid according to the agreed payment schedule before the product is released.

Cancellation terms will be communicated before the order or service is confirmed. If we cannot supply the agreed item or it fails authentication, the relevant purchase payments will be refunded.

8. Shipping

We ship worldwide to selected destinations.

Shipping costs depend on the destination, delivery method and package size.

We do not currently ship to certain destinations, including Mexico, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Turkey, the Canary Islands, Afghanistan, North Korea, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mali, Niger and Somalia.

Delivery times are estimates.

Customs and Import Taxes

All import duties, customs fees, import taxes and clearance charges are the customer's responsibility, unless otherwise agreed or required by law.

These charges are not included in the purchase price unless expressly stated.

Uncollected Shipments

Not collecting a shipment does not count as cancelling or returning an order.

If an order is returned to us because the customer failed to collect it, refused delivery without a valid reason or provided incorrect delivery details, the customer is responsible for the reasonable additional costs caused, where permitted by law.

If the customer still wishes to receive the item, they must pay for the new shipment. Luxury Helsinki is not required to provide a second delivery free of charge when the failed delivery was caused by the customer.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

Customers should contact us as soon as possible if an order arrives damaged or is missing. Luxury Helsinki will investigate the matter with the shipping provider.

9. Returns and Refunds

EU/EEA Online Orders

Eligible online purchases made by consumers in the EU/EEA have a 14-day right of withdrawal.

The 14-day period begins when the customer receives the item.

Customers should notify us as soon as possible if they wish to return an order, and no later than 14 days after delivery.

A withdrawal notification can be submitted by email to contact@luxuryhelsinki.fi or through our online cancellation function.

The item must be sent back within 14 days of the withdrawal notification.

Orders Outside the EU/EEA

Luxury Helsinki does not offer voluntary change-of-mind returns for orders outside the EU/EEA. All such sales are final unless otherwise agreed or required by applicable law.

Showroom Purchases

Purchases completed in person at our showroom are final and non-returnable for change of mind.

Return Condition

All returned items are inspected upon arrival and must be in the same condition as received.

Items must be returned:

• In the same condition as received.

• Handled only for fitting or inspection purposes.

• With all original packaging, accessories, certificates, authenticity cards and Luxury Helsinki security tags intact.

Items must not show any signs of use, wear, damage, cleaning or alteration beyond reasonable inspection.

Luxury Helsinki reserves the right to reduce or refuse a refund if the item's condition has changed or the return requirements have not been met, to the extent permitted by law.

Return Costs and Refunds

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Refunds are normally processed within 7–10 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

10. Product Reservations

Products may be reserved for seven days with a 25% deposit, unless otherwise agreed. The remaining balance must be paid within the reservation period.

If the customer does not complete the purchase, the item will be released for sale and the deposit will be converted into a Luxury Helsinki gift card valid for 24 months.

Gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards.

11. Defects and Complaints

All products are pre-owned and may show signs of normal wear and age.

We describe each item's condition individually before sale.

Luxury Helsinki is not responsible for damage caused by normal wear, accidents, improper use or repairs carried out after purchase, unless the issue results from a defect for which we are legally responsible.

Customers should report suspected defects as soon as possible to contact@luxuryhelsinki.fi.

12. Watch Warranty

Watches without a manufacturer's warranty include a 12-month Luxury Helsinki warranty covering manufacturing defects.

The warranty does not cover normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, straps or water damage where water resistance has not been guaranteed.

Warranty claims should be sent to contact@luxuryhelsinki.fi.

13. Gift Cards and Membership

Gift cards, store credits and membership points are valid for two years from their original issue date. They cannot be combined with other discounts or gift cards.

Gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards. If an item purchased with a gift card or store credit is returned, the refunded amount retains its original expiry date. Returns do not renew or extend the validity period.

14. Authentication Services

Luxury Helsinki may offer separate Entrupy authentication services for items not purchased from our company. Entrupy provides the authentication assessment and certificate.

Luxury Helsinki does not offer a separate commercial authenticity or financial guarantee for these services. Any Entrupy guarantees are subject to Entrupy's own terms.

15. Consignment and Direct Purchases

Luxury Helsinki offers consignment and direct purchase services for selected luxury items. These services are governed by separate agreements.

Sellers must have the legal right to sell their items and provide accurate information about ownership, authenticity, condition and known repairs.

For consignment sales, the agreed selling price, commission, contract period and payment terms are confirmed in the individual consignment agreement.

Payments to sellers are made according to that agreement after the required sales and settlement procedures have been completed.

16. Product Care and Previous Repairs

Pre-owned luxury items may naturally deteriorate with age, storage and use.

Materials such as leather, coated canvas, adhesives, linings and metal parts may become more sensitive over time.

Due to the pre-owned nature of our products, Luxury Helsinki cannot guarantee their future durability or how materials will react to continued use.

Customers should store and care for their products appropriately.

17. Liability

Luxury Helsinki is responsible for its products and services as required by applicable law.

We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, accidents, normal wear or unauthorised alterations where the damage is not attributable to us.

18. Intellectual Property

All original photographs, videos, descriptions, logos and website content owned or licensed by Luxury Helsinki are protected by intellectual property laws.

Copying, reproducing or using our protected content commercially without permission is prohibited, except where permitted by law.

All brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

19. Accounts and Privacy

Customers are responsible for keeping their account details secure.

Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including GDPR.

20. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Finnish law.

Customers may contact Finnish Consumer Advisory Services or the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board regarding eligible disputes.

21. Changes to These Terms

Luxury Helsinki may update these terms at any time.

Updated terms apply to future purchases and do not change already confirmed orders.

If any part of these terms is found invalid, the remaining terms will continue to apply where legally possible.
